Patrick Stamos, DDS
Meet Dr. Stamos
Dr. Patrick Stamos grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri. He attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. In college he played on the tennis team and he graduated with a degree in Biology in 2007.
Dr. Stamos continued his education at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. During dental school he was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. Dr. Stamos worked hard to beat cancer and to graduate on schedule with his class. He graduated in 2015 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was voted Student of The Year by his classmates.
After completing dental school, Dr. Stamos continued his training at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. He completed a General Practice Residency program in 2017, and he served as chief resident.
Dr. Stamos then transitioned into his endodontic residency program at St. Louis University, where he received his Certificate in Endodontics and Masters Degree in 2019. Dr. Stamos again served as chief resident and was an adjunct clinical professor at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois.
Dr. Stamos is proud to be part of family steep in endodontic experience and tradition. Dr. Stamos’ father, sister, uncle, and cousin are all endodontists practicing in the Kansas City area.
Dr. Stamos resides in Columbia, Missouri with his wife, Christina, who is a pediatric dentist. They spend their time with their daughter, Brooke, son, Luke and their dog, Maggie. Dr. Stamos has many interests outside of dentistry which include playing golf, fly-fishing, cooking on his Big Green Egg and taking walks with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Stamos is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association.
